Sweet Evening Breeze Unveiling

The Faulkner Morgan Archive in Lexington, Ky unveiled a dedication plaque to James Herndon, “Sweet Evening Breeze,” on their mural on Limestone street.

The staff at Sweet Evening Breeze felt honored to be in the presence of the Lexington community who have put time, effort, and compassion into making sure Sweet’s legacy is not only not forgotten but consistently celebrated. We cannot thank the archive enough for the chance to see our namesake celebrated and we hope to honor them in the work we do here at the organization.
